At SGP, we are dedicated to helping our goalkeeper students succeed and excel with their teams. Our program is tailored to provide a comprehensive and challenging training experience emphasizing practical, game-like situations. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced goalkeeper looking to take your skills to the next level, the Shutout Goalkeeper Program is here to help you succeed. Join us and see the difference that dedicated, focused training can make in your game. So, don't wait – sign up for the Shutout Goalkeeper Program today and get ready to make some big saves with your team!

Our curriculum covers a variety of crucial goalkeeping skills, including:

  • Shot stopping: Goalkeepers need to be able to make saves against a variety of different shots, including low, hard drives, high, looping balls, and shots from close range. Training focuses on proper positioning, footwork, and technique for making saves with the hands, body, and feet.
  • Diving: Goalkeepers must be able to dive to make saves on shots that are out of reach or difficult to get to with the hands. Training focuses on proper technique for diving to both sides, as well as how to get back up quickly after making a save.
  • Distribution: Goalkeepers need to be able to distribute the ball accurately and effectively to their teammates. Training focuses on footwork and technique for throwing the ball, as well as how to judge the best times and places to pass the ball.
  • 1 v 1: Goalkeepers need to be able to handle one-on-one situations effectively, whether it's making a save against an attacker or coming off their line to challenge a shot. Training focuses on proper positioning and technique for dealing with these situations.
  • Cutting down angles: Goalkeepers need to be able to position themselves effectively to cut down the angle and make it harder for attackers to score. Training focuses on proper positioning and movement to maximize the goalkeeper's coverage of the goal.
  • Dealing with crosses: Goalkeepers need to be able to handle crosses effectively, whether it's catching the ball, punching it clear, or coming off their line to intercept it. Training focuses on proper positioning, technique, and decision-making for dealing with crosses.
  • Footskills: Goalkeepers need to be able to control and pass the ball accurately with their feet, as well as use their feet to make saves. Training focuses on footwork, ball control, and technique for using the feet in different situations.
