Physical Power Program
Building a Strong, Fast Body(ages 11 to 18)
 

The Physical Power Program is a soccer specific physical development program. In a structured environment students focus on the essential physical needs of a soccer player ie. Aerobic Power, Non-Aerobic Power, Leg Power and Upper Body Strength. Over the course of a year students will transform their bodies into machines that will always outlast their opponents.
 
The goal of this program is to give students the physical edge. Helping them build endurance, strength, explosiveness and flexibility we seek to ensure our students are physically ready to perform when needed.
 
***This program is physically demanding and will excel students to high levels of fitness****

 Physical Power Program Training Topics

Aerobic Power Run with efficiency up and down the field
Non Aerobic Power Chase your opponent down and be available for your team when in posession
Leg Power Build legs that are loaded with power
Upper Body Strength Make your upper body strong to assure your core muscles are strong and fit
Speed Learn the mechanics of running with Speed
Explosive Be Explosive and first to every ball
Balance Stay Balanced through the game
Agility Turn and twist with quickness out of tight situations
Reaction React first when an opportunity arises
Quickness Turn quick to beat the opponnent, turn quck to steal the ball 
Flexibility Make your muscles flexible to assure they are strong and always ready to perform
Nutrition Fuel your body with the foods that energize you and the foods the replenish you

Winter (6 Sessions) Saturdays 9 AM to 10:30 AM

Spring (10 Sessions) Wednesdays 7:30 PM to 9 PM

Mar 11, 18, 25      Apr 1, 8, 15, 22, 29      May 6, 13, 20, 27  June 3, 10

Summer (4 weeks of Camp) Weekdays 7 AM to 9 AM

Weeks of            July 6      July 21          Aug 10     Aug 17

Fall (10 Sessions) Wednesdays 7:30PM to 9 PM

Sep 9, 16, 23, 30    Oct 7, 14, 21, 28      Nov 4, 11

Location Universal Soccer Academy (Lumberton)
