Full Time Players Program Year Round Training for ages 9 to 18
|
FTPP – is a year long structured training program. This program is designed for talented and committed young soccer players. In a positive environment players are systematically trained and educated on the five components essential to becoming an effective soccer player (Technical, Tactical, Physical, Psychological, and Character).
When you become a member of our Full Time Player Program you join a class that is loaded with enthusiastic and disciplined students seeking to become the best they can be. In a positive and friendly environment you spend the entire year progressively improving your entire game, while also building friendships and having fun. Because this program is year-round, we are able to give detailed attention to all of our students and give them training that offers all aspects of being an effective soccer player. This program is open to players that consider soccer their primary sport and are looking to play at the highest level.
The goal of this program is to provide training that will produce students with exceptional soccer skills and first-class mental skills. Players will become comfortable with the ball at their feet, tactically aware, physically strong and mentally tough.

Training Overview

Winter (8 Sessions)
Skill Training – deigned to enhance all basic, individual soccer skills, building confidence in handling the soccer ball and physical preparation for the spring season.

Spring (22 Sessions)
Skill Training – designed to introduce students to new, advanced skills. Students will learn how to execute: advanced foot-skills; receiving; creative passing; shooting with precision; volleys; lay-offs; crossing; heading; and more
|

Mental Toughness Seminar – students will learn how to be more focused, as well as learning to master the techniques of becoming mentally tougher soccer players. Topics include: Leadership; Teamwork; Success; Goal Setting; and more.

Tactical Awareness – students will watch games and learn to analyze the Tactical Skills needed to play at higher levels. Students will learn multiple systems and styles of play.

Summer (4 Weeks Camp)
Soccer Skills Center – this session comprises a total of 60 hours of training. In this time, players will have the opportunity to practice their new, advanced skills in an environment that will include: small-sided games; attacking and defending; and full scrimmages. A total of 15 hours of this program will be dedicated to fitness speed, agility and mental toughness. The goal is to assure students are fully prepared for the upcoming fall season.

Fall (22 Sessions)
Soccer Skills Center – this class is designed to help students improve their attacking and defending skills. Players will be taught how to create space when attacking and how to defend in all areas of the field

Mental Toughness Seminar – students will continue with the lessons learned in the earlier seminar, learning how to increase their mental toughness, helping them achieve their goals of becoming a more mentally tough soccer player.

Tactical Awareness – students continue building on lessons learned regarding Tactics and learning the nuances of multiple systems and styles of play.

Also Included
|
Player’s Handbook - Members will receive a player’s handbook that will serve as a guide for their total development. This book includes: soccer homework; characteristics of a successful soccer player; formations and styles of play; player curriculum; nutrition for soccer player; and much, much, more.

Comprehensive Player Evaluation - All members will be evaluated yearly in the following developing areas: Technical; Tactical; Physical; and Psychological aspects of the game. This evaluation will highlight areas of the player’s game where they are strong, as well as point out the areas for increased development.
|

Universal Soccer Academy "Training Gear" - All students will be supplied with Universal Soccer Academy "training gear". This package includes: (Nike warm up, two training shirts, shorts, socks, ball and back sac).
